BLG appoints new CEOs for Bibby Marine and Garic

Bibby Line Group // 21st October 2021

As a group, we’re always looking at how we can develop our people, and share talent within our businesses. So it was great to make two internal CEO appointments over the summer.

Bibby Marine appointed Nigel Quinn as CEO to lead the company through its next phase of development. Nigel moved to the role from Bibby Line Group’s Garic subsidiary.

Mark Albiston, who was Operations Director at Garic then moved into the Garic CEO role.

Jonathan Lewis, BLG Group Managing Director said:

“Bibby Marine continues to provide excellent service to customers, whether supporting the offshore windfarm sector or providing environmentally friendly shoreside accommodation solutions for large infrastructure and other projects. Nigel’s experience of successfully leading marine businesses, combined with his passion for customer service and teamwork, make him the ideal person to lead Bibby Marine through its next phase of development.

“Mark’s promotion to Garic CEO is well deserved, after leading significant and successful change at Garic. Mark’s proven leadership in all functional areas stand him in good stead to lead Garic in its ambitious growth plans and to ensure it maintains its position as  the premier UK supplier of construction site welfare products and workplace equipment hire, sales and bespoke solutions.”
