Walking in the air: BFS’ Mark completes charity Superhero Wing Walk

Bibby Line Group // 28th February 2022

In September, BFS’ Mark Turner took to the sky in an exhilarating wing walk, flying 135 MPH at a height between 100 and 700 feet whilst experiencing terrifying steep turns, dives and zoom climbs, experiencing a positive-G to weightlessness!

Flying like a superhero, Mark was supporting the The Dream Factory, which helps grant the dreams of children with life limiting/threatening conditions or severe disabilities! Mark raised £898, plus an extra £500 through the GSB Programme meaning the charity received £1,398.

Mark said: “I was fundraising for an extremely worth while charity called The Dream Factory whose aim us to brighten the lives and encourage hope for children and young adults who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and/or severe disabilities by way of granting wishes and dreams. Thank you to everyone who helped me fundraise towards brightening the lives of children and young adults, making their wishes come true!”
