Bibby Line Group appoints new CEOs for Bibby Marine and Garic subsidiaries

  • The Group has made two internal CEO appointments to lead the subsidiary companies through their next phase of development.

Leading marine asset provider Bibby Marine has appointed Nigel Quinn as CEO to lead the company through its next phase of development. Nigel will take up the position from his current role as CEO at Bibby Line Group’s Garic subsidiary.

Mark Albiston, currently Operations Director at Garic will now move into the Garic CEO role. The changes are effective 1 July 2021.

Nigel Quinn joined Bibby Line Group in 2017 to lead its Hydromap business and moved into Garic in 2019. Prior to joining the Group he held a number of senior roles in the asset hire sector. A proven leader with a focus on customer and environment, Nigel’s experience across marine and asset hire industries leaves him well placed to take Bibby Marine forward.

Bibby Marine own and operate six nearshore floating accommodation vessels to a range of clients from construction through to hospitality, as well as operating two Walk to Work Service Operations Vessels; the award-winning Bibby WaveMaster 1 and Bibby WaveMaster Horizon.

With a background in engineering, Mark Albiston is a results-focused business leader with proven leadership, technical and commercial ability developed in the manufacturing, logistics, consultancy and plant hire sectors.

Both Bibby Marine and Garic are subsidiaries of Bibby Line Group (BLG). Jonathan Lewis, BLG Group Managing Director said:
