Bibby Line Group  //  13th January 2025

Bibby Line Group is proud to announce that its employees have collectively donated 1,194 days to charitable and community causes in 2024 through the company’s Donate A Day programme – an increase from 372 days in 2022 and 615 days in 2023.

The initiative, launched in 2021 with a target of 1,000 days donated every year by the end of 2024, forms a cornerstone of Bibby Line Group’s wider ‘Compass’ sustainability push, with the vision to be a “family business known for creating a better future together.”

The donated days in 2024 have been directed towards a variety of meaningful activities including:
  • 140 days spent supporting environmental charities and sustainability projects
  • 150 days dedicated to school partnerships, helping to inspire and educate future generations
  • 100 days assisting at food banks to combat food insecurity
  • 110 days providing support to families of poorly children
Bibby Line Group comprises Bibby Financial Services, Bibby Marine and Garic, as well as its head office team. The family-owned group has operations in multiple countries and employs around 1,400 employees.
In addition to the donated time, Bibby Line Group and its employees have contributed approximately £158,000 to over 65 charities through corporate match funding, further amplifying their community impact.

One of the company’s charity partners, Autism Together, highlighted the impact of this partnership. Lisa Masters, Fundraising Manager for Autism Together, said:

“We are tremendously grateful for the dedication and commitment shown by Bibby Line Group’s volunteers.

“Their Donate A Day team provided invaluable support, including helping at our Autism Together Farm, getting involved in the farm’s upkeep, and even building new animal shelters. Their assistance has been important in maintaining the quality of this day service for the autistic adults we support.”

Jonathan Lewis CEO of Bibby Line Group:

“Supporting communities is in our DNA, and I am deeply thankful to our colleagues for their commitment and generosity in giving their time to such important causes.

“It’s inspiring to see the difference we can make when a business and its people come together with a shared purpose. The collaboration with our charity partners has been instrumental in achieving this milestone, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished. Together, we are truly creating a better future.”
