BLG employee programme delivering innovation

Bibby Line Group  //  8th November 2018

Finance colleagues from across Bibby Line Group recently took part in a four-day development programme at Carden Park in Cheshire.

The programme is designed to develop key skills in our next generation of colleagues. Guided by our Bibby values, the groups also presented back their ideas to help improve the business in areas including communication, efficiency and our working environment.

Mark Lyons, Chief Financial Officer, Bibby Line Group: “The purpose of the course is to develop a pipeline of talent for the future, for the good of the business. We also want them to help us with ideas to move the business forward in a positive fashion in
the future.”

Jen Lawrence, Costcutter Supermarkets Group, Course Leader: “Carden Park is a beautiful venue with lots of outdoor space that leads to really great thinking. It’s an opportunity to come out of the workplace and into a different environment which is naturally more conducive to greater openness and creativity.”
